Title: SDPD shooting.
Post by: Kentactic on December 25, 2015, 10:42:24 AM
From what I understand the victim is mentally ill and he was holding a pen. I'm surprised the cop hit the guy. His weapon light was pointing all over the place, mostly at the ground.

First time I've ever seen a cop try to help keep his victim  alive though.

What was the cop responding to?  MWAG?  Suspicious person?  Jaywalking?  Any idea?  From what I saw cops has lots of explaining to do.

AH, found it.  Cop needs firing squad.  Is there never a situation that cops do not shoot first and take cover later?  All cop needed was a closed car door and he would have changed the dynamic 5000%.
