Anybody played it before? What do you think? Finally bought it. Its a pretty good game. Glitchy as hell, though.

I bought it a while back, but before reading reviews. The game is pretty cool, IF you can get the damn thing to work. The computer version (which I purchased) will not let me get past the first 5-10 minutes. It's slow as hell, and freezes at one point (a particular point about which many other complaints are made). I just erased it off my computer until the developer gets their shit together enough so that I can download and actually play it. >:(
The problem isn't my computer. I play Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and Far Cry 2 on my computer and they work just fine.

I fucking hated it. its not worth the money by far i would of sold it the second day i had it if it wasn't for the damn code you need to type in. They knew the game sucked and fucked over the people who bought it. I wish i would of called them up and bitched.

That game was a disappointing, over-hyped piece of shit.
Every time i go to gamestop they have a full shelf of Homefront lol.
I know i returned mine.
Gameplay sucks and it doesn't feel intuitive at all.
Story was really lacking and the graphics were sub-par.

I dont know about the PC version, I played it on console. The gameplay is pretty much typical for an FPS, dont even bother with the online despite it being the main focus of the developers its not up to par with BF or CoD. The single player does offer some entertainment, I think mostly being able to envision yourself in that kind of situation and seeing the difference in the country and things we take for granted now days. I did enjoy the story, even more so having read the book that they put out before release to accompany the game. There were a few instances that had kind of a "shock" factor, or bring back bad memories if guys have seen that sorta shit before. But beyond that it is a typical storyline. I'm not gonna say I'm a badass gamer (I try to be humble lol) but I'm definitely above average and the game took one sitting of probably just a few hours to clear. I wont spoil the ending for ya but it sucks diseased balls and leaves it WIDE open for a sequel. I would definitely rent/download/borrow it just to experience it, but it aint worth more than probably 8 $1 Federal Reserve Notes, if that...

i just got an xbox360, so far all i have is battlefield 3
i want to get left for dead series but other than that does anyone have suggestions on games to get?

The Halo games are always good and if you are into RPGs theres always Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, I love that game!
