IT FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!!

Tactically this is a joke, both the attackers and the defense had no fucking clue what they were doing.
The defense should have used better defensive position, holed up in the ground and being distributed in the area, not in a fucking line 30 cm apart from each other!!
Fuck is so frustrating I have seen better tactics in Hollywood movies, people filming Lights out supposedly are preppers, the writer himself trained with James Yeager.

Besides that, that I think is key in lights out saga, the acting sucked so fucking bad I can't believe it, the FX are non existent.

Damn, I'm so disappointed...

I just wish "Gray State" is better, at least the trailer was cool and engaging, this Lights Out film was depressing at best...

On a side note, James Yeager will be appearing in the next season of Doomsday Preppers to be aired mid August.

I hope that the screen writers do a better job on the script for the movie (s) than they did on the YT vid. Hunkering down behind wooded pallets does not make a good outcome for the defenders. Consequently, I am reluctant to donate any $$$$ to the cause until I see a realistic clip.

Edit: Whoops APX, I didn't see your SHOW CONTENT thing till after I watched the video. I think we are both on the same sheet of music.

The idea of basically a front assault by the motorcycle gang was a bit laughable. But also consider in a real WROL scenario, such lines of thinking will be used by those not well-versed in proper military-style operations and tactics. Basically that means there will be alot of gear/guns to be picked-up by those smart enough to avoid the initial onslaught of stupidity.

Beyond that, hope they can make a full-length movie.

Travis Fox, the producer replied to some comments similar to mine with this:

No argument from me. In the movies themselves, we'll dig trenches, fortify fighting positions, have interlocking fields of fire, etc. The barricade here was meant to deny movement more than provide cover (although there were sandbags and items like a backhoe bucket). This was a two day film shoot intended to share the concepts of the story on a very limited budget. Your points are very valid, though. (- the Exec Producer of Lights Out)

Sorry for not explaining this trailer better.  This wasn't cherry picking scenes - this is a short film that captures the concept of the movie series. The movies have NOT started filming yet. We have no movie footage to use, and this footage will not be used in the movies. This was a two day film project intended to get your attention. We couldn't dig trenches and do a lot of things we WILL do in the actual movies here.

If they knew what they did sucked, why did they publish it?
Their found collecting sucked and with this release they just buried themselves even more.

After the watching the YT video, I hope the writers they hire do a better job than in this vid. I support the effort but will not give $$$ to a project that turns out this slop. Poor defensive position, behind wooded pallets - Cut me a break.

This was the response to my post:

I understand your concerns. Please keep in mind this was a concept trailer. This footage will not be used in the movies. We would have preferred to dig trenches in the woods, have fortified fighting positions, etc. This was a 2 day project, and every dime we spent on it takes away from the funding for the movies themselves. We had to compromise on a number of things that we won't in the movies themselves. - Travis

My Response back to Travis:

Thx for the follow-up Travis. Just a suggestion from an old out of work marketer...Never put anything out that isn't damn good. It will detract from your message. Lights Out Saga's goal now should be to raise as much $$$ as possible. Just some free advise so you know what it is worth ;-) 

Maybe I shouldn't have been a prick however, I loved the book and would like to see the movie made and released.
