edit- This is the first of a three book series.  It's a good tale of libertarian preparedness and survival set in an alternate reality.  The seond book is more of the same, with more of a survival bent.  Do yourself a favor- stop there.  The third book is essentially based on revisionist history and isn't worth the purchase price.
