Civil Defense Manual - vol1 and 2...
« on: March 14, 2023, 11:41:26 AM »
HI all,

so I picked this up last week and have been reading non-stop. https://civildefensemanual.com/
Author Jack Lawson- price was $99 shipped.

It's too early to do a full book report on this because I'm only 230 pages in on vol1- but I will say it's eye opening. So far the author is a little repetitive too (but that's ok). Info in there by Selco describing what the fall of Yugoslavia civil war looked like, from his living it is good information- and working towards organizing a home defense co-op makes some sense to me. I will however have to think more about it. I like how the author talks about things being a co-operative action, and not a communist/commune action. There are a few things I don't agree with like keeping a pantry for the group/ if they didn't buy food (well they didn't think far enough ahead). That's hard for me to follow. In reading so far I am seeing that my current plan has a few issues. I'll say what I'm lacking. Antibiotics, mouse traps, maybe a cross bow, and way to process whatever meat can be secured. salt to cure it.
between this reading and working out- I've been busy.  ~Fitzy111
