Short story: I Told You So

I was checking out the website of an author who wrote a series of books I really enjoyed (Living With the Dead series by Jesse Petersen, zombie-horror meets rom com, very funny, though I seriously doubt most of you guys would like them :) ).  On the website were a bunch of short stories set in the same universe as the books and I thought this was an interesting one that was worth sharing.  It's the story of a prepper and what he does once the apocalypse hits.
