Prairie Fire

Prairie Fire by Clay Martin is a non-fiction work that outlines how to prepare for Civil War II.  The author is a Special Forces veteran who intimately knows the down and dirty of war.  Author Martin doesn't pull any punches and his writing is politically incorrect, yet he manages to impart the knowledge necessary to survive the hard times that are coming.

Martin doesn't sugarcoat the need for violence at the appropriate time.  The book is written specifically for those who reside in rural areas.  He has written a companion work called Concrete Jungle for urban citizens.  The author gives some excellent advice regarding patrolling and defensive methods.  I found the book to be very informative and well written and it just flows.  The author also makes some recommendations for additional reading, and he helpfully left spaces for adding your own notes.  I'd give this one 4.5 stars out of five.
