Book review? Alas Babylon by Pat Frank

Just stumbled on this earlier today. Found it an interesting read primarily because of the setting, close to my area of florida. The subject is the old beat to death nuke exchange between the U.S. and former U.S.S.R, it didn't dwell to heavily on the technical aspects but went primarily for a narrative of the small community and the problems faced by them. Overall I considered it a decent read.
