Day by Day Armagedeon, Beyond Exile, New Dead, Dying to Live, Down the Road, The Road, all better choices than Zombie SURVIVAL Guide. Check 'em out and thanks for joining us.
-
I have read the Zombie Survival Guide - and so did my older kids. I liked it... It contains tons of information.
I also liked Abraham Lincoln - Vampire Slayer and Pride Prejudice and Zombies......both true to life discriptions of actual events in American history ;D.
-
Has anyone read the patriot?
-
The Patriot isn't about Zombies... duh..
And yes, I know Pride Prejudice and Zombies isn't nonfiction. I so happen to have a four year degree and have taken many literature classes. And I go the the library EVERY weekend! I am the real deal.

Geeze...i just asked about a book :-\
I can see who in my group just became zombie bait!

I am no miss thang... I was just trying to share. Feed me to zombies, huh? Having already the Zombie Survival Guide...... I have the upper hand Southern Patriot. Oh and Um....I'm pretty sure that trying to feed me to Zombies will probably be a trust issue for me in the future... just saying.

I've read World War Z, I've read pretty much every zombie book out there. World War Z is Max Brooks' (son of famed film maker Mel Brooks) seminal work. Pretty much everything before, Survival Guide include, was trash, and he hasn't put out a new book since, hence my suggestion to possibly check out the other great books I mentioned, including the Day by Day Armageddon series, which is far superior to Max's work.
/My name is 505th.NM.Militia, and as your ADMIN, I approve hot zombie girl off topic posts.

I had the impression that these books were geared torward kids sitting home in their ninja outfits. I take it i'm wrong once again?
Dont get me wrong,i looooooove my zombie movies and have seen them all many times. If i see George Ramero's name flash across the screen,i giggle n pee a little. .
But what's the real deal on the books?
-
I own both WW Z and zombie survival guide. They were real fun reads and an interesting look into how things can colapse around us. I still read them from time to time. But now i have to go find day by day. And ifin you like the zombie genre. you can try the ZOmbie dawn series. Kinda fun but writen by a brit. its kinda funny when a char in south dakota asks for a torch when they should be asking for a flashlight lol.

Another great survival guide geared more for kids is That?s Not Your Mommy Anymore, from Matt Mogk.
It has been described ?a cautionary tale that teaches kids how to recognize and survive a zombie outbreak in its earliest stage. It?s Dr. Seuss meets Night of the Living Dead.? Love reading this one to the kids. They stay in bed when the lights go out.... lol.
