New Illinois guy

First time on the site and I see hardly anyone from Illinois! what gives?  I am a newer, I dont really care for the term prepper, but I'll use it for now. I am just sick and tired of seeing our great country go down the drain, our rights along with it. So i want my family prepared for anything. do i think there is a zombie apocalypse in the future?  not a chance! but these are uncertain times and call for being prepared for them. Anyways, I would love to connect with some like minded people in northern IL or southern WI. be safe

Welcome New Age Prepper!

We have quite a few folks in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Crudos, one of the members of the Board (PREPCOM) lives in WI. as well as a few guys in the Racine area.

Illinois is a good state for prepping minus the defensive armament you might need to complete your preps.  But ya' got to do what you got to do within the boundaries of the law.

Welcome!  I think the core of prepping is really more about the mindset where you know problems can come up, that things may not always be "status quo".  Just being open to that concept is hugely different from the non-preppers.  Glad to have you aboard!
