Greetings from New Orleans.
« on: September 16, 2017, 10:09:14 PM »
Hi, my name is George.

Retired military, but while you can ask me anything, there are some areas where I know very little, others where I am acknowledged to know something.  An example is rifle marksmanship, I got 1 hour in 1979, and 1 hour in Iraq in 2004.  I know the basics but no more. Other areas like how radios work, I really am an expert.

My interests in survivalism are multifold, the tech is fascinating and the why is even more interesting.

I also write so I have to do research.

George

In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Welcome George Newhill! Great group of folks here both men & women from all works of life and political backgrounds. We also have a small ham contingent which do a good job luring members to the hobby.

Currently I am in the planning process of putting up a full wave loop 160 meter antenna. I will wait till November so most of the leaves in my neck of the woods have succumbed to gravity.

Anyhow, welcome!

Welcome George Newhill!

Criminy JM get the name right.

Greetings and Salutations George Newbill.  Hail and Well Met.

I offer a civilian salute to your service (whatever those things are worth) along with a deep appreciation.

Be warned, this is a rather eclectic, broad ranging, not much humble group and on occasion you will likely be amazed, outraged or even offended.

Me?  Short story, W. Central Virginia, Man of Myth and Legend, Famed in song and story, prasied from near to far.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

JM you know and started it.  Everyone around here has a big eye on everyone else.  That government watching and such.  George might not realize it or might even be one of them but if he is watching us, we are watching him 3x over.
