Maintenance Prepping
« on: September 15, 2017, 11:30:56 PM »
The wife and I have been prepping for about nine years and I screwed up big time. When we started prepping, I didn't make a list of each item we bought. I've got doubles and triples of some things and have them stored in different places. I must have at least two of every size tarp that they make. Y'all need to make a list or you'll have my problem. Also, the food situation is a problem because every time we come home from the grocery store, I have to go into the prepper food and bring out the old stuff and replace it with the new stuff. We did make list of which food containers had which food items, so Now all I have to do is break my back lifting one container off of another container to get to the one I need to swap out food in. Make a list folks, make a list.

You bring up some good points pkveazey. I have lists of what we have BUT the lists live electronically. I should really print them out in case of an EMP. Although I do have two laptops in the faraday cage encased in mylar EMP bags.

Make a list folks, make a list.

Yes, Make a list.  And get a shelf.  And another shelf.  So you have things stacked on shelves.  Max 2 high and 2 deep on a shelf.  So to get a can or box you have to lift at most one or 2 other containers.

It is bad to have a 64 cans stacked 4 high on a pallet.  When you need the bottom can on the stack that is second from right on the second row from the back.

I think the shelves are a bit more important.  But the list is necessary.  No list equals no pics.  No list, no pic, you ain't got it.
