Idea for a category

So I've been thinking that we should have a category dedicated to home/cabin/BOL, and possibly throw in gardening/animal raising in there as well.

We can have stuff in there with regards to renewable power options, some security (basic stuff) for your place, things that'll optimize your home/cabin/BOL for you and your family/friends survival.


Reason I bring this up is because I was going to start a thread, like I had on the LnL forum, about Alt.Energy ideas, and I had no idea where I should put it lol.

When I did the recent sorting and moving of topics, I put the shelter and alternate energy related topics (unless they were a gear review OR DIY), into "Security & Survival."

Many of the topics and Boards were consolidated... being that so many of these topics are cross-over topics.  Meaning that the thread will eventually address other topics.  So broader boards were created, along with their new descriptions. 

Thanks for bringing this up... It made me notice that I had not out-right included "shelter" in the S&S board description, thinking that it would be made obvious by the board's name.  I went ahead and added it for clarity.

Basically my whole idea is a sort of homestead-like category, since that's pretty much where my talking points fit in.
