PREPCOM would like to thank the forum members who have been keeping the Board informed of problems with Unchainedpreppers recent speed - Or in fact, lack there of.

We have just "inked" a deal with a new host named A Small Orange (ASO). In a recent survey ASO was listed in the top five hosting companies world wide. If the product they are currently providing Unchainedpreppers is any indication of what you all can expect from them in the future, we are golden! Some things are:

> Larger memory & bandwidth - Which means,
> Faster up times, and
> An opportunity to grow without breaking the bank.

The plan over the next 48 hours from now (02:30z, 7/11/2013) is you should see nothing but a faster site coming your way. However, PREPCOM does wants to warn you that there may be a few hiccups as our old host, Arvixe finds out that they are going to lose Unchainedpreppers. Please be patient during the migration if the forum has a "healthcare.org" moment or two.

Guys, these are great news, new server is giving us loading times of 2.4 seconds meanwhile Arvixe gives us 20 seconds loading times.

At the moment we are waiting for DNS servers to propagate the new location, in layman terms DNS servers are like yellow pages and we changed our address, so until the yellow pages are updated they indicate the old address, people will start getting the new yellow pages and they all will end up knowing the new address.

DNS propagation already started and can take up to 48 Hs, but I think it will run faster.

When your DNS is updated you'll see the message "Welcome to AOP!  "  in the news section, if you're in the old hosting you'll see "We are Oscar Mike "

Bear in mind that if you create new threads in the old server, they aren't going to exist in the new one until PREPCOM does the final sync up.

This should go smoothly but in case you have any kind of trouble or doubt please send me a PM.

I see we're on the new server... I found a hiccup.

I can't reply to a topic from the "reply" button on the "most recent posts" page.  It perpetually asks me for my user name and password.  However I can reply from the topic page, obviously.
