.mil is on the move everywhere.  We had three Blackhawks flying low around 21:00 the other night, which is unusual for around here, day or night.  They were flying low enough to rattle the house.  What was really interesting was that only one of the three was flying with navigation lights, the front two were flying totally dark.  Didn't have a chance to check the ADSB, but I imagine they were taking a scenic route to Ft. Campbell.  Our four legged security contractors are getting good at letting us know when helicopters are approaching, so we get a little heads up.

We have been seeing an unusual amount of helos going north (Ft. Drum) and south of late.

On I-81, there has been a steady stream of tanks, Humvees, and Strikers on commercial flatbeds going north. All these vehicles look like crap. Peeling paint and such. My assumption is they are going north to be touched up.

Ayup, we're at least a couple of ridges west of Oak Ridge.  Oak Ridge is a very nice community, and it has some interesting places to visit.
