Had a Beretta .25 with 2 mags inherited and not interested in keeping. Stopped by a local shop and began discussing a Remington R-51.
I have researched, read up on, assessed posters credibility or lack of, youtubed, looked, handled, felt, fondled, smelt, rubbed, tugged, pushed, pulled, stroked and done about everything doable (no choking though) with an R-51 except fire it.
I decided to go forth and obtain one. I took that Beretta and started the haggle. His starting price was $299 plus tax. Ended up on trade plus $185 out the door. Should be here Friday or Saturday with 2 mags.
I will be out of town from Sunday to Saturday (Nags Head) following so no powder burning till return. Report will be posted and comments solicited.
I will be getting a trade in plate for my Alien Gear IWB concealment holster. I will be searching a good OWB holster also. Recommendations requested.
