Meet the People Who Want Obama to Repeal the Bill of Rights
If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

What scared me is the baselessness of the assertion.  I haven't seen anything in the mainstream media on the topic.  Changing the Constitution requires 2/3 of the US Senate and House and 3/4 of the states to ratify the changes.  Such a movement would create quite a stir and not do unnoticed with a republicans in control of US senate and House as well as many state legislatures and governors who would veto it at the drop of a hat.  The interviewer is leading people and trying to put words in their mouths.  Fortunately most people evaded answering by saying they were unfamiliar with the topic.  A few others kind of went with him the way polite, non-confrontational  people often smile and nod, when planning to blow it off. On the whole I think the interviewees were great.

I am concerned, especially in the prepper community, that too many are looking to bash Obama on every single issue.  In this case, I'd bet it is based on a few words completely out of context.  I would like to have seen Obama handle some things differently, but I don't think he is evil or ill-meaning, just mistaken sometimes and only in my humble opinion.  We preppers, as likely survivors, need to keep our independent critical thinking as clear and fact based as we can.

There is a tendency (documented), that we tend to live near and associate with people who think and act like ourselves.  Sometimes the resulting consistency of the opinions around us make them seem like truth rather than just opinions.  Facts that contradict those opinions are dismissed as lies.  Even opposing scientific consensus is dismissed as a conspiracy, typically by nameless groups who stand to make money by opposing the community "truth."  It takes time and effort to counter these forces, but there is no shortage of groups that will use these techniques to convince us and themselves that they are right.  Think about climate-change deniers, carbon tax promoters, anti-vaccination advocates, or any other toes I neglected to step on and noses I think needed tweeking, lol.

It's only scary if you believe that 'rights' come from a piece of paper.
