This just happened to a friend of mine according to his post on facebook:

Fuck Sprint gas stations....I went there yesterday, waited for the pump to authorize.....it beeped and said fill up. I filled up and the screen went back to normal for the next customer. As with many, no receipt printed. 5 minutes later a police officer showed up at my work claiming that the gas station manager reported that i stole gas. The police escorted me to the gas station. The manager said that the attendant overrode the credit purchase because the authorization was taking too long and approved the pump for inside pay. However, they didn't tell me on the intercom or the screen so i assumed the credit purchase was like any other. Then when I offered to repay they said that I must pay with cash because they couldnt accept the card without a pending purchase so I had to pay $3 in Atm fees. In addition, she claimed that the pump had a high incidence of drive-offs......so why the hell would you authorize a pump without notifying the customer that the payment method was changed in the middle of the transaction......humiliated at work and told that I could lose my license.........this is bullshit!

The amount of bullshit people is supposed to handle these days is unbelievable... That's the reason so many people live on drugs all their life.

SK, as you know I am a big letter writer so I recommend he write a letter to the CEO of Sprint.

It's easy to find out whom that is. Just go to their site and scroll to the bottom and click on "Investor Relations." Once into that field click on "Company Officers." He/she would be listed there.

Keep the letter to one page and be as clear as possible. Cover in this order:

1) What happened
2) When this happened
3) What you expect from the CEO/Sprint for the inconvenience caused by the Sprint employee
    - Apology letter
    - A tank of free gas (Reasonable)

Send it via snail mail and if your friend does not receive a response within 10 business days post the letter on his and their FB page.
