So we got a little snow today and I was shoveling out the truck when this BMW drives down my road and stops in front of me.
The guy rolls down the window and says, "I just bought Elizabeth's house up the hill from here and the road hasn't been plowed- How do I get home?"
I informed the guy that it won't be plowed as he bought a house on a private lane. So then he says, "where am I going to park- I have a 3 year old in the car and I need to get home?"
Now I am thinking, WTF? If you are stupid enough to go out in a piece of shit BMW coupe in 12" of snow don't go and bother me.
Well I saw the 3 year old in the back seat of the car and asked, "Why did you go out?" He explained to me that he went to his shed to get a shovel but the lock was frozen. So he put the kid in the car and drove to Home Depot to buy a shovel.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Next time how about asking a neighbor for a hand. I would have defrosted your lock in about 2 seconds OR I would have loaned you a shovel."
I took pitty on the kid with the stupid hat in the back seat and directed him down our road about 20 yards and told him to dig out a spot for his BMW, park it and walk back to his house.
I followed him down to an empty spot and started digging. He got out of his car to help me and when we were finished he parked his car in the spot we had cleared. Got his daughter out of the car and walked down our road to his lane to his house.
Come on! Hasn't anybody defrosted a lock before? Why would you put your 3 year old daughter in a low riding car to go and buy a shovel when you could have knocked on any door and asked to borrow one. What was he thinking?
Here was an excellent example of a sheeple- "Oh what should I do???"
