There were some comments about OPSEC in another post and it seemed to be getting off the original topic so I thought I'd offer my 2 cents worth on OPSEC. I think its important to warn people about what's coming and tell them to prepare for it because they need to know up front that they ain't coming to your house when the SHTF. I don't think its letting too much information out if someone ask if you have any ammo, it would be OK to say yes, but you'd be stupid to tell anyone how much ammo you have. If someone asks how much food you have stored, you might want to tell them you have enough to last for a few months because that could mean 6 months to 48 months or maybe even longer. The point is, speak in general terms and NEVER be specific. For instance, I have some physical Silver but I would never tell anyone how much I have. My answer leaves it wide open. I could have 10 ounces or I could have 10,000 ounces. That information is for me and me only. OK, OK, OK, I don't have 10,000 ounces. I could go on and on but I'm pretty sure everyone gets the point that OPSEC is really important and warning others is also important.
