Title: Officially across the pond
Post by: mechmedic on October 26, 2019, 09:21:58 PM
I’m officially no longer in the US. Not yet to where we’re going to spend most of our deployment but should be there by Sunday evening. I’m excited for the experience this is going to give me and for the time to be able to properly put together a training plan for the TC3 course. I will be making a class book at the suggestion of JohnnyMac. I’m also toying around with the idea of a 3 or 4 day “advanced” class. The longer time would be on more in depth coverage of the basics and more scenarios. Plus I’ll be able to focus on the weekly medical posts (already have more ideas in mind) plus maybe even starting a blog just on tactical medicine ranging from the concepts to what to pack and where to get the supplies. Getting this information out is definitely my biggest goal.

Like I tell everyone who goes to another country-- don't drink the water.  Beer is good!

The only beer we’re allowed to drink is O’Douls and they have it in the chowhall for free. Haha

I actually like O'Douls! Be safe brother, and looking forward to another class when you arrive home.
