I got up at 0315 hrs and walked outside. There was a very thick layer of clouds so I missed it. O'well  :facepalm:

I'm awake and working at the time, so I peaked out of one of the bay doors
I would describe it as a lit up burgundy color.

We had rainy clouds here in Tennessee as well. All it did was create an ominous red glow.

We had overcast skies in my neck of Tennessee, left over from the snow and rain we had yesterday  :facepalm:

Dam frost  :pissed: is gonna cost me some apples and peaches again this year.

Yeah brat...What the heck is going on this spring? We went from 62 degrees to 20 PLUS 2" of snow.

they are heavy into fracking to get oil from the ground around here. It has caused earthquakes in parts of Texas. If you have google earth, there is an option you can turn on to show all the earthquakes of a certain magnitude that have happened at any time. You can even request certain blocks of times.
Weather wise, this has been a very unusual time. We are getting weird weather patterns, not just here, but all over the world.
Has anyone else noticed that?

Yes the weather patterns, at least in North America have been unusual. But then what is "usual?"

Usual weather patterns follow the historically established (expected) patterns. Kinda like the cycle of the stars, moon and sun. Global warming has happened before, maybe not as bad as today, but it has happened. Today's weather is unusual because we are having 2 days of 30 degree followed by 2 days of 90 degree. Dryer then normal in some areas, wetter then normal in other areas. Floodplains are being reestablished, so much so that FEMA had to update and re-issue their Flood Maps. Plus, it just doesn't feel right.

Actually, I shouldn't be complaining. The weather has been almost perfect in San Antonio. We had a beautiful winter. Very comfortable. I have family in Michigan, they had a tough winter. Some lost power for days at a time. Then last week, two tornados go through the area. Berryton is not a tornado area. I have to go back to the reservation twice per year. The tribal council is really worried. I have been trying to get them to start thinking about preparedness, they are finally listening.

Ebola, GOP gaining control of Congress, Entrovirus D68, Syria falling to ISIS, ISIS moving into Turkey & Israel, Russia continuing their advance is the Ukraine, The US dollar no longer being used as the Petro Dollar????

I think it's important to bring this up as we approach another Blood Moon on April 4th, Israeli election, Russia moving towards war and the bearing being let into the stock market.
