Rather then starting a new thread i'll post on this one.

Well do to a whole nother volley of shitty news I decided to go on an outing this weekend and took a lady friend to see Nightmare on Elm Street play at the Hollywood Cemetery behind Paramount studios. Goodtimes.

WET SUIT? Mountain you are right.  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

I use to sail over from MDR and anchor in Emerald Bay on Catalina Island. Use to dive for abalone and I never wore a stinking wet suit! Mask & snorkel, fins, trunks, gloves and a L/S sweatshirt.

In truth though Ken, I could only go for 20-30 minutes before I had to get out of the water and my balls were the size of peanuts.  :))

Its amazing what you do when you are young and poor.  ;)

haha yeah...no i dont even "need" the wetsuit. I have dove in 55 degree water in my board shorts for hours and not felt cold. Its more of a piece of gear you use becaue you can. Plus the weight belt is a lot more comfortable with the wetsuit on.

yes they trap small amounts of water under the suit that your body heats up. Alot easier then trying to heat up the whole ocean with body heat lol. This time of year my suit works too well so i have to flood it with cold water every now and then to keep from getting heat stroke.

Went out today and we swam out to a buoy the lifegaurd claimed was 47ft deep although my guess was more like 40. It was 1/4 mile out. Pretty fun dive except my dive buddy cant equalize very well so cant make it that deep so i couldnt hang out down there too long in case of shallow water black out id be dead for sure. Saw a monster female sheephead.
