America is on the cusp of something it has never truly experienced: mob rule. To “feed” a mob, witch-hunts are essential. New enemies must be in constant supply to keep the mob moving. Problematically, witch-hunts never end well for the witch-hunters.

Just ask Maximilien Robespierre, one of the chief architects of the French Revolution and the infamous “Reign of Terror.”

It was 1794. Heads were rolling, literally, and “Madame la Guillotine” was more popular than ever. At first, the mob was content with the heads of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette. The king bankrupted France by helping America win its independence with mountains of debt, all while a horrible famine ravaged the nation simultaneously. Many died of starvation. It was during the famine that the queen told her subjects, “Let them eat cake.”

With the king and queen gone, the mob’s appetite grew. They now required the heads of the aristocracy.

After the aristocracy was gone, Robespierre’s Committee on Public Safety (a massive misnomer) began sending anyone and everyone to the guillotine – even other members of the committee itself – in order to satisfy the appetite of the mob. Georges Danton, the other influential thinker behind the French revolution, was executed by the committee.

Royals lurked under every rock and behind every tree, and unsupported suspicion was the only thing needed to deprive a person of their head.

In the ultimate twist of irony, the mob eventually required Robespierre’s head.

I would like to share an interesting story with the forum.

There was a impromptu gathering at the redoubt last night. People just showed up and we sat on the porch enjoying the break in the hot weather, sipping coffee, adult beverages, and eating this years newly harvested of sweet cherry's.

As the night waned on the conversation changed from farming, vegetable gardens, plans for other home style stuff to politics. One of my neighbors 14 year-old son is spending the month of July as a Boy Scout Camp Councilor in Training CCIT). When he was home for the weekend from the regional Boy Scout camp he shared the following story with his parents.

One of the paid 19 year-old councilors was preaching to the Boy Scouts (Ages between 10-14 years-old) anti Trump rhetoric. Well my 14 year-old neighbor approached him in private and expressed the opinion that it was not appropriate to express pro or anti Trump comments to the troops. "They are hear for a week of fun not to listen to politics". Well the councilor blew him off and continued his anti Trump talk in earnest.

My neighbors next step was to pull the head BS leader of the camp aside and let him know - Which he did. The camp leader attended several of the Trump haters classes and determined in fact he was guilty of this infraction.

The CCIT's get an evaluation at the end of each week by the Camp Councilors and my neighbor received a poor evaluation from the Trump hater so he surmised that the camp leader must of told him to stop with the anti Trump rhetoric.

Isn't it interesting that the left who preaches love, acceptance, tolerance, et cetera, does not live by those goals.

Look at what happened to the Hammonds under the Obama administration. When the BLM laid a fire that was racing towards their ranch they successfully stopped it with a counterfire.

It went  a bit over their property line and they called the firedept to stop it.
The BLM intervened and prevented the Fire Dept from going over the property line and then used that to convict them of Arson.

They entered  a plea deal for  a slap on the wrist and were sentenced to 5 years instead.

And when they served their time a Obama appointed DA (a former family law counselor) stepped in and got them accused and convicted of "terrorism" using their plea deals against them.

If we ever get a President holder or similar scum get ready for more of the same.

My mom's workplace is getting sued for racial discrimination by one of her co-worker's/friend because the co-worker overheard their manager arguing w another co-worker(who is an immigrant-not sure if illegal) over bs propaganda that Trump was putting migrant kids in cages. The co-worker suing was encouraged to do so by her 14yr old daughter who overheard her mother describing the argument to another adult and determined her mother's manager is a racist. Appearently the daughter had met the manager previously a number of times and really liked her but now is convinced the manager is a racist.

My mom said the only other black girl who works there was interviewed by a lawyer and denied any racism exists. Regardless my mom thinks this will put the company out of business by the end of the year.

The woman who is suing is an idiot for listening to her daughter. Real well thought out situation. Sue your company for something that isn't true which means the company goes out of business. She and all the other employees are put out of work. Who wins? Nobody. That kind of thinking is like saying "I'm cold so I think I'll set my house on fire to keep warm".
