Long Winter!

    Is there anyone else tired of winter weather?  Here we are in mid April and winter weather persists.  Yesterday we got a couple inches of sleet and then a thick layer of freezing rain on top of that.  Needless to say, it was treacherous.  This morning I needed microspikes on my shoes just to take care of the animals.  The extended forecast is snow showers each day with temperatures 10-15 degrees below normal.

I am!  :pissed:

A steady 18 mph with a few gusts over 30 mph today. I am done!

Yesterday it was snowing here WTF!

I have run out of firewood with the exception of a few days worth in case the Electric dies. On 100% propane heat now which is $$$$$! Electric has flickered all day long.

it was over 80 on Saturday and i needed a heavy jacket last night to take care of our animals...
is something freezing over?

No.  We still have anti 2A liberals here.

But I had a tornado hit about a mile from where I lived until October and calling a frost warning tonight.  But Wed it will be back into the 60s and Thurs in the 70s so I can live through it.

It was 80 degrees here 2 days ago.  Today we had snow/sleet mix all day long...no accumulation due to slightly above freezing temp.

     It snowed all day here in the Adirondack Mountains, and the forecast is snow for the rest of the week.  This is the longest winter that I can remember.

I'm ready for whatever the next season is...
We had 50+ mph winds here all day yesterday - lost power 3x for a total of about 6 hrs. Lucky we had the kerosun primed and ready to go because house temp dropped to 50...
Do't get me started on the tree limbs all over the yard - hundreds of them.

This subject thread is pretty funny and illustrates how Mother Nature is in control or....

....Is it the contrails or man made pollution (One in the same) causing this weird weather.

A good friend thinks it is the magnetic change of the earth. Heck 10-years ago, the magnetic deviation here has change about 8 degrees. Maybe he is right.

Well it snowed off and on yesterday and woke up to 2" on the 'snow board' this AM. Another 2-3" predicted today locally.

Oh well, it is what it is.  ;)
