Kentactic is still around
« on: November 07, 2015, 07:14:26 PM »
I haven't posted in probably well over a year but I figured I'd stop by and say hello. I ended up deactivating my Facebook account so now I'm kind of bored when it comes to stuff to do on wireless internet accessible devices.

But anyways... Hello.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

Unfortunately I can't say why but that might be enough of a hint in itself.

OK, but I do want to make sure you realize if you are not here you are missing out.

Wellll.... Value is subjective and we always act towards our most urgent needs. If I'm not here, it implies that being here would result in a greater missing out if I were here against my will. Wherever we are, when voluntary, is the most valuable place to us or we wouldn't be there.

I went to a SASS.net cowboy shoot yesterday.  I do not have a little rollyround cart so I carry my gunbelt and 6shooters, along with ammo in a backpack.

I carry my rifles and shotgun in an EBR type case.

As I got up to the shooting range one of the guys hollered at me (big grin on his face) that the tactical cowboy match was last weekend.  I hollered back that I know, I was there and he was not so he missed out.  Just like you will if you don't visit here relatively frequently.

Both Uberti reconstructs but a Colt Lightning (pump action) and a Winchester 73 (everyone know lever).

They are terrific.  Anytime time the movie Winchester 73 (starring Jimmy Stewart) on tv, I have to watch it, no matter how mad she gets for me not doing the stuff on the list.

I have little use on the Lightning and been working to find a bullet it feeds/chambers smooth.  I need a mold for a 38 cal Truncated Cone bullet.

I always enjoy attending the cowboy shoots. The lever actions are my favorite by far. Really upset that I let the opportunity to buy a colt a few years back slip through my fingers.

You cannot needle me about this but the Win 73 movie was on the other day, and I got the rifle out of the case and had it in hand the entire movie.  Not necessarily during commercials when other things were in hand but all the movie.

Go with the old standby Remoil, but if necessary there is always the good old KY.

Glad to hear it. I don't think I do have your number anymore. You can text me it again but I'm guessing you have my old number. I've had my current number for 2 years and some change.
