This is something that has been in the back of my mind for awhile now as I been watching world events unfold over the past 4 years. I remember reading a couple of years ago where Russia and China had held some private meetings where they had signed some mutual agreements. Since that time they have seemed to move in unison in adversarial response to any moves the United States has made.
They are not our friends and very well may be our enemies. Here's an article that got me thinking about this again.

Ehhhhh....... This is the same old stuff that's been going around for decades and decades. Every few years or so Russia barks at the us or NATO. Not that they are not a threat but I would say no more then they have always been and probably less of one then say 25 30 years ago.

To be sure they were certainly a threat 30 years ago. One difference is that 30 years ago Russia and China were eye to eye with each other as much as they were with us. The Russians were more terrified of the thought of a billion Chinese coming screaming across their border than they were of us.
That's not the case today. Russia and China are allies against the interests of the United States and have been working in conjunction with each other for at least the past two years. China has been actively and "vocally" indoctrinating their military that war with the U.S. is inevitable. Make no mistake, they have been playing us as patsies.
Both Russia's and China's military leaders have made statements indicating they think they could win a war with the United States. It would be a mistake to casually overlook their motives and desires in bringing down the U.S.

If Russia thought Afghanistan was bad they've never seen what a few motivated (and sometimes intoxicated) rednecks can accomplish. Attack us, sure. Invade our lands, yea. But when they turn off American idol and we have a common enemy that is not internal to focus on... Game over bitches... Lol
And that's why I'm working on de-pussifying as many people around me to rally to the cause, just in case lol

But they could go through Russia, Alaska and Canada without getting destroyed. Which would be a miracle for them.

What if the Navy is out of the picture?
Sure, the odds of that happening are slim, but that isn't none. Should they try to fuck with us (and by us, I mean either Canada, the United States, or both), I will make it my personal vendetta to make those bastards suffer like nothing they could ever imagine.

It is 53 miles across the Bering, you can cover that distance in a row boat.
You could row a million men across the Bering without some much as a how you do from our Navy. Unless you got incredibly lucky and someone spotted this 'flotilla.'
Once a group of that size made landfall there wouldn't be a fucking thing that anyone could do about it. Next thing you know they seize the port at Anchorage and are using it as a jump off for Seattle.

Yep, I agree that we have plenty of good people here and a battle hardened military. Still let me give you a couple of things to think about.
Yes, our people would put aside their differences to protect our country. The thing is, what makes you think there would be many people left? Russia, and in particular China don't need people. People is one thing they have an over abundance of. According to Chi Haotian, China's former Minister of Defense, what China needs most in this, the Chinese century, is space to expand. And he specifically mentioned the North American Continent with it's clean land, air and water.
Now consider that the U.S. has had and still does have one of the most porous borders of any civilized country. Anything or anyone could come across it without much concern of being caught. Especially if they have been trained. Now consider that the "failed state of Mexico" is already buddying up to China. Just as Venezuela is buddying up to Russia.
But then, why sneak acoss our border when we invite them in and give them visas. Two years ago it was reported that there were 30,000 Chinese front companies in the U.S. that the FBI was aware of. That was before all of this free trade zone BS. There are hundreds of thousands of ChiCom citizens legally in the U.S. with the full consent of our Government. Do you think the Chinese have any desire to spy on us? There are also hundreds of thousands of Russians who have come the the U.S. since the collapse of the Soviet Union. You know, they never have been able to account for those missing suitcase nukes. Wonder where they went.
I'll guarantee you that a large number of Chinese and Russian agents are living among these populations. Russia has some of the deadliest bio weapons on the planet. And the Chinese are no slouches in this area either. Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many containers arrived this week from China that weren't searched? Consider the possibilities. But the DHS is more concerned about American citizens being potential terrorists and exploding Thanksgiving turkeys than what dangers and destruction these agents could pose.
Also note that China has been spending large sums of our money on EMP research. They already have systems developed. Also consider that they have been sending a lot of satellites into space. Anyone want to put money saying there isn't an EMP device on at least one of them? My money would be on the ones 400 miles up.
Now consider that China and Russia have both been building bunkers like crazy. Thousands of bunkers. Why? China has also built dozens of empty cities inland. Why? Are they replacement cities?
I could go on. All it takes is looking at what is going on and applying strategy.
Blow it off if you want. Old news. Hey, has anyone heard of the Russian warships protecting Syria's airspace in case NATO and the U.S. get froggy like they did in Libya. Or that times up, Israel and Iran are at the boiling point. Or that China has signed a mutual protection pact with Pakistan. Or that China is pissed that the U.S. is interfering with their claim of sovereignty over the south China Sea.

Hey, did you see the announcement this week that we've learned how to weaponize H1N1? Wonder if that idea has ever occurred to the Chinese? Seeing as they live in the part of the world where 99.9% of flu's originate. I think the .01 was the swine flu which came out of Mexico. Of course it turned out to be a crossbreed of a swine flu and an aviary flu. Something that can't occur in nature.

Yep, they say my mask is obsolete. Of course they don't sell that one either. I've got thoughts about that and how to use a mask but I'll keep them to myself.

They've been getting pretty cozy over the last few years mate. I think that they realize 1 v 1 against America, they would fall, but the two of them against America...well, it'd be close.

You're probably right. If either China or Russia ever started anything with us the other country would probably jump in to help us because they hate each other so. Oh wait, they both hate us more.

I have no doubts that they would turn on each other if the U.S. ever falls. China in particular would turn on Russia. They see themselves as the superior race. But until such time, they both have a vested interest in the downfall of the U.S. We stand in the way of both of their world plans. To them, it's no question that the U.S. has to go.
The "Chinese Century" can't be achieved otherwise. And Russia, according to Putin's statements ,is looking to reform the Soviet Block under a new name and perhaps include Europe. That can't happen unless the U.S. is gone or brought to it's knees.
But who knows, you could be right.

The reason this face off makes me nervous is that Obama see's himself as the modern day black John Kennedy of Camelot. I hope he doesn't envision himself staring the Russian horde down by calling Putin's bluff. There are reasons why Putin is no one to screw around with unless you're the real deal and willing to light up the sky. Obama's not and Putin will bitch slap him with a first strike.
Putin has reawakened the nationalistic Russian Bear and is worshiped by their masses. He won't back down like Khrushchev did.
If Obama thinks this is a good way to show he is a military tough guy before the elections this is going to get hairy.
There is no good outcome. Even if the Russians decided to back off of Syria and allow NATO to do what it did in Libya. Which I doubt they will because Syria and Iran are their allies. They could use what NATO did in Libya and Syria as an excuse to to make a military move to retake some former Soviet Bloc countries. Something that Putin has alluded to recently. Thus putting us in another standoff situation.
