Strange stuff

Hi all,

I thought I would share something interesting.

Here in the UK the ownership of firearms is restricted BIG time.

Yet as you can see from the link you can buy and operate a tank with no licensing requirements.

Weird stuff, yet cool.

Wish I had the coins to bid/buy. I saw some nice "prepper" type vehicles on there.

I was under the impression that that law was kept "lax" because there are quite a few british lords who like to driver around town in those things...

Yeah there is some good stuff on there.

If only I would win the Lottery ..... LOL

I wouldn't mind having a BRDM or BTR-60 to play with.

Hey gadget99, what do you prep fro self defense if guns are heavily restricted? Besides tanks.

You would be surprised how effective a cricket bat can be......

On a serious note though.

I used to bow hunt back in the states and am more than happy with a good compound bow in my hands. Just like many I am a big believer in keeping a low profile so there is less danger of conflict.

Sometimes we forget that the firearm is not the be all and end all in terms of protection.

Just my take on things though.
