The shots around me started at midnight, and are still continuing. God, I love 'Merica. I only hope we'll be able to exercise our 2A at this same time next year to celebrate the 2013 New Year. I love our republic, or what's left of it.

I'd post the American flag emote, but I don't feel like smiling.

Happy New Year, guys.  :-\

I only heard one gun last night about 1 A.M..  It sounded like a 45, 8 rounds.

Usually I hear someone shooting every other day or so out in the woods.  A lot of dirt trails out there so people like to go up them and shoot.  I guess they feel like they are out in the wilds.

Up to 11 probably 500+ for the 10 minutes before, during and after 12 maybe 50. Mostly .22s aks ars a couple of 308s. Guess everyone blew off their ammo early. One very trigger happy guy nearby counted for probably half I heard (gonna have to drive down that street and rubberneck). About 3 cannons and either a cannon failure or someone lit off something special (not a boom but a nasty loud crack).
