Title: Henry Kissinger: "If You Can't Hear the Drums of War You Must Be Deaf"
Post by: sledge on February 06, 2012, 08:57:39 PM
Now this is some scary stuff right here.  From the lips of the asshole himself.

"The United States is bating China and Russia, and the final nail in the coffin will be Iran, which is, of course, the main target of Israel. We have allowed China to increase their military strength and Russia to recover from Sovietization, to give them a false sense of bravado, this will create an all together faster demise for them. We're like the sharp shooter daring the noob to pick up the gun, and when they try, it's bang bang. The coming war will will be so severe that only one superpower can win, and that's us folks. This is why the EU is in such a hurry to form a complete superstate because they know what is coming, and to survive, Europe will have to be one whole cohesive state. Their urgency tells me that they know full well that the big showdown is upon us. O how I have dreamed of this delightful moment."

Interesting read Sledge...We all know what is coming.

Two things:

1) Why do we keep finding articles about TEOTWAWKI and sharing it amongst "the prepper
group?" Is it that deep down we have doubts "it is coming" so we have to keep justifying our
thoughts or is it that we are trying to be Paul Revere. And...

2) When are we going to get off the dime and really prep? None of this, "oh I bought an extra can
of peas today" Or I just bought anther box of ammo- Now I have 100 rounds of X- But really
    prep?

Just some thoughts from ornery JohnyMac nothing against the article just some thoughts.

Fuck.

I guess I better prep on my skills (mechanics, languages, etc) so when I get drafted I can get something cool.  :-[

Draft? Like beer? Because that's the only "draft" I plan to partake of. Draft papers show up for my ass? LMFAO I'll be sending back a picture of my ass with the message "Kiss it" along with my autograph. Unpatriotic? You betchya! Not until this nation does an about-turn.

I report the things I find for informational purposes.  I make sure I stay as up to date as possible on what is happening.  (The drum beats.) Realizing there are things happening I will most likely never find out about.

I'm convinced the middle east will blow up.  Iran isn't going to back down on nukes and neither will Israel.  How far it will escalate will determine how bad it gets here.  If it's contained to just a regional conflict then fuel prices and an even worse economic down turn is all we will have to deal with.  If bigger players jump in then there isn't much of a limit on how bad it could get.

2) When are we going to get off the dime and really prep? None of this, "oh I bought an extra can
of peas today" Or I just bought anther box of ammo- Now I have 100 rounds of X- But really
prep?Got to figure a little bit here and a little bit there adds up right? Also, in today's economy I don't think people are fully willing to prep. Example? The wife wants a new mattress. I want to invest in solar. Tell you right now we're buying the mattress. Why? While things are somewhat good I'd like to still offer my family some taste of normality. May sound stupid at the moment, but I don't feel solar panels are going to make or break us. Plus it's not exactly a carry along bug out item lol. Probably not the best way to state it, but I think you get what I'm saying.

Just some thoughts from ornery JohnyMac nothing against the article just some thoughts.

LOL!  The Onion is one of my main sources for the latest news.  LOL!  I wasn't aware the Daily Squib had the same journalistic reputation as I just came across them. It says at the top of the page "The World's Finest News Source!"  The bastards!   F@ck!  Now I have to email Kissinger and ask him about it.
