Good points Felix, and how do we know who is behind the keyboard at any time? I'm a strong proponent in the grey man theory, as I firmly believe that the nail the sticks out gets hammered down. I've worked in government agencies, as have some of the others here. From my experience, it was never a good thing to attract government attention. It's better to "fly under the radar."
I posted an article demonstrating government tactics yesterday, which outlines how the government is actively scrutinizing all electronic communications. Drawing unwarranted attention simply for amusement could cause repercussions for others on this forum. It's the domino effect which causes unintended consequences. I firmly believe in freedom of speech, but think about what you're typing, and possible consequences. The Feds are not easily amused, and some here think that they have everything under control.... until they don't. At this point, what I term pre-kinetic or pre-k, the government chooses where and when they will act. Ask Randy Weaver how that worked out, or the lady Air Force Veteran at the Capitol, or the other folks being rounded up from the January 6 festivities at the Capitol.
Regarding disappearing people, hopefully neighbors or family will notice. Once the current situation goes fully kinetic, I would hope that most forum members would take active protective defensive measures for their own safety. Think and act local, get involved with your local government and local law enforcement. At full kinetic, it won't matter any more what you post, because the government will have full control of the internet, and they more or less control it now. Secure communications should not have an intermediary structure.
If you're looking to attract attention, why not send some messages to your congressional representatives and Senators? Like Bob Dylan sang, "The times are a changin'," and not necessarily for the good. Oh, if a goon squad does swoop down and grab you at o' dark thirty, please have your next of kin send us a message on the forum, just so we know.
