Plan A, Plan B, Plan C
« on: February 27, 2020, 06:36:55 PM »
Most preppers tend to have Plan A, B, C, etc. Well today I confirmed that I only have Plan A. I'm old and my plan is to stay put out here in the country and defend the home ground. Today I had a very strong reason to have to walk 8 miles to perform a task. Well, after 4.5 miles, I was completely worn out and had to ask for someone to give me a ride for the last 3.5 miles. I got lucky and got a free ride to my destination. That pretty much told me that bugging out more than a couple of miles was out of the question. If Plan A doesn't work for me, then there is no sense in trying a Plan B.

I feel your pain. I too am to old to bug out and also have a plan "A" and no plan "B".
This virus has caused me to rethink what is most important to acquire other than stores but extra food is always needed. Do you have any ideas?
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

I'll throw my hat into this  ring too.
I have a bugout plan - but i can't walk it anymore.  So if there's time and I can, i'll drive.  If not, i have a couple of bicycles w/toddler trailers attached to carry the gear.

so i have a plan A and plan B is a crap shoot.

Just about every Prepper I know has a really decent First Aid Kit. Well, that's all well and good but not having all the possible medicines for every possible problem is a disaster waiting to happen. I even have Bio-Hazard suits and masks and goggles. I would suggest that every prepper should have at least one Bio-Hazard suit for each household member. The suits are about $10 each if you shop wisely. I've also loaded up on as much 90% Alcohol and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide as I can. Alcohol above 70% is burnable as fuel, so it serves two purposes.

Folks, your prepping's bring a big smile to my face. You are living it!

This next msg is not to poo poo any of our prepping.

Let's keep in mind that nCoV-2019 is just the common cold that appears to be a bit more contagious then the average cold. The deaths it has generated, a terrible thing, tends to have happened in China, which in all essence when you look at their socialized medicine program is 3rd world.

Beside for their medicine being 3rd world, the powers believe that the Party is more important than the individual. With that mindset, they are locking people in their houses, putting hundreds of people together in warehouses to get better on their own or die.

The biggest fear I have, which I have opined on ad nauseam  :deadHorse: is the empty shelf syndrome.

Empty shelves means low sales. Low sales means layoffs. Layoffs means recession. A recession means Trump will loose.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.
