Title: God Works In Mysterious Ways
Post by: JohnyMac on July 05, 2015, 12:33:10 PM
O-Kay now...

A week ago today a nasty little Nor'easter hit New England. Below are a few pictures of what the storm left in the bed of my truck.

Yupper, the top 10 feet or so of a weeping willow tree snapped off and fell perfectly into my truck. My truck became the perfect ghillie suit.

Once I cut off the branches so I could see, we tied it down and took it to the town dump where I wrapped a chain around the log and the dump guy took it off my truck.

Total damage was ~$3,000- completely covered by insurance. The problem is that it will take between 10-15 business days to repair so a insurance supplied rental is in my future.

The best part is I was getting ready to do some body work on the truck before the winter set in and now it is 100% being taken care of.

Doesn't God work in mysterious ways?  :dancingBanana:

Well with that piece of tree gone, you probably have a safe parking spot now.

The funny thing Nemo, that is where I typically park my lobster boat to work on. I moved it a day before so it would be closer to the house and an electrical outlet.
