Why wouldn't radios work?  It would be extremely difficult to jam the entire radio spectrum, because of the nature of radio propagation.  And jamming would be localized, if it did occur.  Sorry, not buying it.

Whitehead has been beating the conspiracy drum for a long time.  Sure, it's likely governments or groups may indeed be causing various happenings.  But Whitehead seems to take his conspiracy theories to the extreme.  A little too much woo, in my opinion.  Sometimes a rock is really a rock.  Occam's razor frequently elicits the best solution in most cases.

As I know personally, from living behind the Iron Curtain interruption of HF radio transmissions is not at ALL easy or generally successful, especially for people who understand radios. Localized (ground wave) jamming was common in larger cities, but it being ground wave, was pretty easy to 'null' out.  Two years ago when Cuban "Socialist Paradise" was using their multiple regional jammers at 15 KW each, I was easily having contacts with hams down there in CW between the 10 KHz jammer spikes, using narrow filters, commonly used by Morse operators.  The same can be done with many modes in FLdigi.

There was phasing / anti-jamming antennas based upon commonly available materials, like aluminum foil and cardboard and my mag loop does this well, also. the aky wave from one signal is usualy quite different from the jamming signal due to different aazimuth to transmitter distance, take-off angle and arrival mode ( ground wave vs sky wave).  There is more, but I cannot think of ANY nation where the ability to receive was simply shut down.  EMP?  Keep spares in a sealed 'can'.

Everybody is on the right track on this jamming issue. Here's something that's unexpected. Use the same Military frequencies that they are not jamming. Maybe use modes that they don't use. If they try to do triangulation locating, they'll find themselves and possibly you. But.... You'll be long gone after making your super brief transmissions. Operating crossband is another way to drive them nuts. Transmit on 160 meters and receive on 80 meters. They'll be sitting on 160 meters waiting for a reply and get nothing. There are a ton of ways to skin that cat.

I dont have any and wouldnt know how to use them if I found them. From my point of view they would use satellites, drones, IR, etc... to locate people, smoke, tracks/trails, pets, heat signatures, etc...

They know who owns what properties, family ties, old family ties, ex family ties, neighbors, etc... and they can track anyone when we have no way of doing anything. Its just a matter of time before they come knocking on your door.

So with comms they may not be able to block you or listen in but they most likely can say there is an electronic signal coming from this area, send in the dogs....

Dont get me wrong, I wish I had the equipment and knowledge to use it but I dont so I make the best of what I do have
