While the ideas he presented are great, he and his family have a very poor location. Seemed pretty much an indefensible position if his neighborhood turned on them, or someone with superior firepower came by.

Yeah that's what i thought. You'd think he'd sell his house and move more into the hills.

Looks like Dave Sarti from YT's "dsarti1" is going to be on the show.

I've really liked watching these shows on demand as I miss them when they air.  Not learning a whole lot more, but its a good show non-the-less.  Sure there are some weirdos here, and also, I think they are freaking retarded letting a camera anywhere near their stockpiles or Bug Out locations, or their homes.

With that said, I really liked the entrepreneurial prepper dad who had his sons well trained, and then the idiot shot his thumb off.   [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

How in the hell do you do something like that?

If he was in a SHTF situation, all that prepping, dumb accident, goes into shock, probably dies. Unless his kids could've taken care of him.

One thing that really rubs me about this show, is that everytime someone says "financial collapse"  the "experts" get on there and say that a financial collapse or hyperinflation is not likely.

Ohh really?  Well did all these GENIUS "experts" see the Crash of September 2008 coming?!?!??!  Did those "experts" see the Great Depression coming?!?!?!?

Yeah I didn't think so.  What a bunch of bullshit!

Just EXACTLY what I explained to my parents about during that very show.  Its a great opportunity to get people exposed to it while filtering the content and explaining things to them.  I think they may have been bitten by the bug too...  :))

Believe it or not, I actually got my wife to sit through a WHOLE SHOW!  It was crazy.  She hates shit like this, but she actually sat and watched the whole thing.

I think it got her thinking about food preps, major.  It could be a very good thing, if I can get her help, it would really help our food prepping.

Yep, but how do you know who has guns and who doesn't?

I guess an obama sticker might be a fairly good indicator.  LOL

I was totally thinking of that, not to mention they showed their home and everything else.

If anybody around there knows them or knows their home, they now know they have preps and NO GUNS!

Sounds like shooting fish in a barrel to me!  Those people are screwed!  LOL

Actually if you listened she said they have neighbors with guns that will protect them.  Of course then Shaggy came on talking about how he'd just poison their food or slit their throats in their sleep...

they just said they have a community to fall back on and it was against their beliefs to have guns around... she even went on to say once the SHTF her and the people with guns can compare notes and see who comes out ahead... whats funny is those people with guns dont have to compare notes theyll just shoot you for your notes if they want them... lol

I'm going to chime on the Maryland group and support their view. They know their community, we don't. I wish them the best should the crap really hits the fan.

Thanks Ken, its been a couple weeks since I saw that one lol.

I agree Crudos, but still.  To think that they will just be able ride out the storm with their hippie ways is insanely optimistic at best.  Especially with Shaggy there and his roguish attitude towards "marauding bands" that he has no idea what they will be like.  I bet they have never even heard of Somalia or similar countries or seen the kind of people famine and disease as well as general SHTF can bring.

Hunting will be important during this time.  You can get fresh meat and let your storables last.  I ordered seeds, too.  I'm stocking rice and Quinoa.  Quinoa is probably the best kept secret out there.  It lasts stored for years and is the MOST nutritious grain known to man.

The guy they had as security seemed a bit naive at best. Think they have a bit of opsec mind games going on in their part of the program. That is the feeling I had after watching their episode.
