Title: Does anybody else drink else French press?

Every morning I get up and make a pot of french press coffee. Stuff is really good.

Yes the coffee from a French Press is very good but it doesn't stay hot.

We are lazy though and use a Mr. Coffee at home. At camp we place a cone with #4 filter in it and pour boiling H2O into the filter which drains into a thermos.

If WROL happens the #1 thing I will miss is coffee in the morning.

If you boil the water in a pot you can put the excess water in your mug and it will heat the mug while the coffee steeps.

Wish I could grow coffee here. That would be the best thing ever.

I do.  Keeps all the oils that are in the coffee there, oils that the filter captures.  Makes for a more delicious cup of coffee.  Plus, no need to endlessly buy filters, plus it will always work in WROL.   :)

Im thinking abot getting an old style percalator. Those things made some good coffe.
