F2, Yeah I agree with you on Schumer and Pelosi.
In another life, often when we needed to fill an important role, a couple of us would meet to list the qualities we were looking for. Once listed we would start to look at a 10,000-foot level to find the folks that fit 80% of those qualities. Then vet those semi-finalists. Once vetted and the list had dwindled, we would start an unofficial and informal interview process not mentioning the position open. Once we were down to 2-3 folks the official interview process would start using sr exec's that were not involved in the initial recruitment.
Let's look at a list of characteristics that the puppeteers would like as a new VP then let's look at available people, both political and business, that could fit "their" desired list.
Here are a few qualities that I think "they" would want,
> Name recognition,
> Left leaning but not a commie,
> A handsome male. Someone suburban moms would accept. Not Mike Pence but similar,
> Someone that even the GOP could get behind all-be-it reluctantly,
> Someone quiet and not showy - That would be Harris's job,
> Other attributes/quantities that would be a good soldier for the DEM's?
Let's keep an eye towards the news, especially in the MSM, who all of a sudden pops up in the next several weeks. Maybe the MSM starts talking about how great Romney has been "for the American People", or "Newsom got a raw deal in CA., or Former Gov. of PA Tom Ridge is such a distinguished statesman. Trust me there will be a flock of folks, political and business names start to squirt to the top of the MSM news cycle.
