 Bad bad news>  As of 3:18PM eastern time a barrel of oil was -$35.00 a barrel. That's MINUS $35.00.
 I don't understand business but can someone tell me what is/might happen?

BLUF - I have no clue.
My highly limited knowledge  - 2 semesters of economics for engineers  - makes me an expert 

one thing i took away from that was you can take the pulse of the economy by the price of what ever fuels it - once coal, now oil...
low cost - low economic productivity.   weird, i never hoped for higher priced oil before.

Yeps, if you have a big tank you could have been paid $35 to store a barrel and you get to keep the oil.  Good money but it takes alot of capacity.  And you have to pay the delivery and similar costs.

But you can make big bucks.   So who wants in on a giant oil tank purchase?

OK, I get it. Crude Oil is the driving force behind the stock market. Hmmmm……. Oil going negative is just bazaar. Hey! Does that mean I can go fill up my truck and the gas station will pay me? I've been prepping since 2008 and I've tried to cover all the bases. Things like Civil War, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Famine, Economic Collapse, EMP or Solar Flares, Pandemics, etc. Lately, I've watched what is going on with the Economy and it has taken the front seat. The instant I heard about the VIRUS my first thought was this is the opportunity THEY have been waiting for. Hey! Let's blame it on the VIRUS. When this VIRUS thing is all gone and forgotten about, we will still be headed straight down hill with no brakes. This is going to get so bad, people will gladly give up all their rights in order to survive. There is a way out........ Create an alternate economy using GOLD, SILVER, NICKEL, COPPER, and BARTER. OK, call it a BLACK MARKET if you want to. It will operate outside the formal system and there will be no rules and no oversight. There will just be survivors and non-survivors. Well stocked and well informed Preppers might have a slight chance of surviving what's ahead.

Many cities have prohibited the sale of seeds or gardening supplies yet allow the sale of alcohol, pot and abortions, why?

Because they do not want anyone to be self-sufficient, thats why!

I predict what the future hold for us is something none of us have imagined yet simply because the past month has been unforeseen. Yeah some have prepped for pandemics but no one was ready for what has happened since.

Add into it the oil situation, which is one of the three biggest employees in my state, and we're screwed in more ways than anyone can guess. Alaska's biggest employers are the oil industry, tourism and the hunting/fishing/outdoor activities businesses. All three have taken a huge hit, many of the smaller guys are planning on bankruptcy because they've already lost so much business from cancellations this year.

Personally I'm going fishing today to stock my freezer because food is always important when the SHTF

 I wen to Lowes today to pick up some cleaning supplies and I walked past the seed display. There were plenty of flower seeds but almost no vegetable seeds.

 By the way for those who don't know Lowes gives military and veterans a 10% discount. All you have to do is prove that you are one.

RESET: I keep hearing the word RESET from all the economist. Say What??? Yep, but not one of them has used the word RESET on TV. Not a peep on any of the news channels. Not even on FOX NEWS. Everything is geared to, "Look here, right here. No! Don't look there. There's nothing happening there. You must focus all your attention to here and only here." Well, this is what I've been hearing and so far these economist have nailed it. First: The stock market is rigged and the FED is propping it up by buying everything. It can't last forever, so this is what to expect. The first thing you're going to see, and it won't last long, is nobody will have any money so prices will drop into deflation and everything will be cheap. Then, because of all the Government spending of money we don't have, we will go into Hyperinflation and that $2.00 Hot Dog with everything on it will eventually cost you about $9000.00. Then when everything has gone to crap, the government will institute a monetary reset. What's a reset? Well it can manifest itself in a lot of ways but the simplest and best way is to create new currency that is backed up by something tangible like Gold or Silver. It doesn't have to be Gold or Silver but it will be something that people can hold in their hand and say, "This is real". Some economist are saying it will be Gold and others say it will be something else. If you hoard whatever you think is going to be the new reset material, you'll be super rich. If you guess wrong...…. Well, things aren't going to go so well for you.

I have been watching this thread since its inception. PK nails squarely on the head.

We are in a deflationary period that will lead us as a nation into inflation followed by hyperinflation.

As a side note; the leaders of the NWO and WHO met in October to game plan things specifically global climate change. One of the things they game planned and for the very first time I might add was a world pandemic. The meeting was called, Event 201. Check it out.

Okay, do I think that the release of the virus was planned by China or the NWO...No. Do I think some folks will take advantage of the crisis...Yes.

Add to all that you folks have already written, why are the folks in the media and many Progressive leaning politicians pushing for the country to stay "locked down"? It just doesn't make any sense.

Do I think that everybody spoken of so far is involved in some secret plan to bring the country under the NWO...No however, do you remember how Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, Loreta Lynch, James Comey, etc etc etc, did underhanded things for Mr. Obama and Obama never communicated to them to do X, Y or Z. They just acted.

Unless Governors don't reopen their state there will be a reset. A reset put in motion by the NWO and WHO.

NWO or WHO or some other entity it doesn't matter because so many sheeple are willing to lay down their Rights at the moment in order to "feel" better.

Things are going to get ugly with state reps setting up hotlines to turn people in for not following their rules and at the same time letting criminals out of prison because they might get sick, Churches closed and abortion clinic open, drones spying on citizens and taking their temperature from 100's of feet away, parents arrested for play in the park with their children -

This is NOT the Country I grew up in, a reset is coming and it wont be pleasant

Yep Grizz, this is just a dress rehersal for what's coming. They want to see how many sheeple are out there so they can determine how much force will be needed during the coming oppression. I'm out in the country and don't expect any drones to come near me but if I see one it'll be good target practice. I'm guessing I can hit in in about 3 shots.
