Blue Book value on a pre 64 Winchester 94
« on: September 11, 2013, 12:14:05 AM »
So I'm trying to trade a new in box Bushmaster Ar15 for a 1927 Winchester 94. I'm unfarmiliar with this kind of weapon and am just looking to get a good honest trade value on it. He hasn't sent any pics yet but he claims the action is smooth and tight. Blueing is worn on the reciever but most is sill on the barrel. All original condition.

What would you folks consider a good trade value is on this?

For $2.95 you can find out from the Gun Bible.

What's the caliber Grudgie? Is it a straight grip or a pistol grip? Saddle ring or without? Take down model or not? Barrel length? Lyman peep sight or ramp? NRA condition, e.g. 100%, 80%, 60%?

Depending on how you answer the above questions $700 - $2,000

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize there were so many variations. I'll ask him.

I collect old lever actions and have learned a few things over the years.  ;)
