Title: 37th Wedding Anniversary
Post by: JohnyMac on November 10, 2013, 08:04:11 PM: I do not want any "that a boys" just stating a fact. MrsMac and I just celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary this evening!

My point in posting this is that it has taken a lot of compromise from both of us over those years - Mostly by MrsMac as I was never a choir boy.

I asked her at dinner this evening why she stuck around and she said, "let me think about that question a minute."

Well we then just started telling old stories of gunfights, bad drug deals going down, nasty winters living on a sailboat, hurricanes, cancer, parents dieing and other everyday kind of life things.

Well over the creme brulee, coffee and a tawny port (for me) MrsMac said, "You asked me earlier why I stuck around? Well it is really simple...You stuck by me and so I stuck by you. We are a team! Good bad or indifferent...We are one."

So there you go...
