Garbage In = Garbage Out.
The professor hit the nail on the head. If this is what students are taught in High School. How are they supposed to know any different? They don't figure it out until they graduate from what ever level of education they receive. Then when life smacks them in the head they get angry because they feel they are being treated unfairly because everything isn't handed to them like they were told it should be.
