I listen to Travis on occasion however, mostly avoid his channel. The information he shares is where MrsMac & I were in 2010 not 2022.

This morning I ran across a video from him posted yesterday. The title intrigued me so I listened to it during stacking my last load of firewood today. It was good so I thought I would share it with the group. Enjoy.

Damn! Is it just me or does anybody else who watches You Tube Videos gets really pissed off when the person labors a point for ever and ever before they actually get to the point and say what's on their mind. I watched as much of the video as I could stand before I lost patience with the guy. Hell, he was right but he didn't have to make an epistle out of it. I watch a lot of prepper videos and most of them are OK but they do tend to get long winded and drag it out. They're not putting out bad information but it seems that the CRASH will have come and gone before they shut up. :faint:

Okey Dokey.... Here's the latest from my household. There is so much talk about banks crashing and bank runs that I stayed up all night and waited for my bank to open this morning. I left a reasonable amount in my savings account but pulled all but $600 out of my checking account. My monthly bills come to about $500+- so I can cover that if I get any bills before the 1st of the month. This crap is starting to get serious real fast. I'd rather be a month early than one minute too late. I think that one thing preppers overlook is comfort foods like our favorite snacks. Yeah, we'll be eating when the rest aren't but it'll taste like crap but a few comfort foods will make life a little easier. I also made sure to buy a lot of extra Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Apple Cider Vinegar and other spices to at least give shoe leather a better taste. :popcorn:

PKv, you actually nailed it why I tend to not listen to Travis.

Good on you for your bank actions.

In my opinion, if things crash your credit card will be worthless quickly. Then the banks will close as per the Treasury so cash will be king. Then, within weeks after the crash, cash will be worthless and things will change to PM, and bartering.

We have a list of things we will buy the second the crash happens using cash on hand. Hopefully, before cash becomes useless. This is when PM's could save your butt.

Just look at what happened to the Weimar Republic. It is the text book of what is coming.
