With all the noise about Russia amassing on the Ukraine border, what are the chances that they roll into the Ukraine?

Intelligence chiefs have warned ministers of a ?very real possibility? Russia could invade Ukraine on Christmas Eve.

It would coincide with the 42nd anniversary of the Soviet Union?s ill-fated invasion of Afghanistan.

Up to 100,000 Russian troops are massed on the border.

Both the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign Office refused to comment on what action the UK might take in the event of a Russian invasion.

Colonel Richard Kemp, a former commander in Afghanistan said: ?There is no possibility of direct military intervention by the UK, NATO or the US in the event of a Russian attack against Ukraine.

Point two, watch communist China vs Taiwan.

Keep your radio ham computers air gapped so that they are immune from cyber mischief and likely to work when/if needed.

I beleive that's already happened Sir John.  The NG has been called out to respond to the trucker's protest. 
Now I can not corroborate this as I didn't see this myself, but my wife was telling me when she got home today that one of her news feeds had a train heading northeast out of Atlanta loaded with military vehicles. That news feed said it was a response to the Ukraine thing, but come on do they think we're idiots?  If war with Russia occurs, if it's not prepositioned it will not matter. Of course, it could be true, or it could be nothing, but my paranoia says they're headed to DC environs.
