Off subject but applies:

My wife isn't a fan of venison; she will eat it but when I say, "we are having venison tonight" she doesn't jump for joy.

Well unbeknownst to her I will cut a venison steak against the grain about 1/8" thick. Then I make Beef Venison strogenoff. McCormick's makes a great mix. She is never the wiser.  :))

I worked it with a pork roast, I had it in the slow cooker all day. Smelling up the house somethong good. She asked where i got the roast, my reply was " I got this roast at the local shop" . After she asked for seconds. I told her she was eattong bambi... She looked at the plate . Shrugged and continued to eat..
JM: Don't tell her. I only tell my wife what the meal is not what I'm useing in it. It works for me everytime.

In store at a Dick's Sporting Goods. $24.99 per box - a $20 off coupon, a $10 off purchase of $50, and two "score points" coupons they let me use all at once so I walked out only paying $20  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co I don't like them as much as REI for some stuff, but the coupons can't be beat.
