Picked up a model 37 Ithaca for 97 bucks, buggered bolt stop lever (some dork took a file to it).
Might break out the duracoat for this one, 50% finish left.

yall need to work on your shotgun skills, if your complaining about recoil from 7 rounds

if you cant run 100rds of 00 through it without getting hurt something is wrong

Frig that!  The frigging thing would beat me to death.  If you ever visit Florida I'll let you borrow mine and see how many rounds of 00 you want to put through it.  It's light so it will always be with me.  But you really have to want to kill something to talk yourself into pulling the trigger the 2nd time.  I'm big on shooting from the hip, close in with that thing.  I've been thinking about changing it over to a pistol grip.

you buy the rounds
and i'll shoot that fucker till your kids college fund goes dry  ;D

Even if they are empty, water bottles are a great asset. http://www.sodis.ch/index_EN

Lol actually I'm glad you asked it is from a baby car seat that I've salvaged the shoulder straps will velcro in place but the buckle will beat a quick release to remove the jacket in case it is necessary I don't think you can tell from the picture but it has molle all over it. when I finish it I will make a video of me tearing it down and putting it back 2 gether I will also explain the components of the vest.

lastly I want to point out that I do not talk like this I am using the speech to text program on my phone because I hate the on screen keyboard.

quick question

I'm ordering bdus and i see short regular and long sizes.
I know what they mean but i'm a little confused.
I have a woodland bdu top that is a long but i'm not sure if the sizing is right as it is made by a low end company.

I'm looking a propper bdu's brand bdu coat and i'm not sure if i should get the regular or long. I do like my sleeves a little longer but i don't know if they will be too long or not.
Any suggestions?

Five miles tomorrow will arrive at the RON after dark, do a HAM check from the woods, sleep then wake up and do some 1st aid training then we will hike a seven mile loop back.

Filled a bunch more 2-litre bottles and 1-litre bottles as well for patrols.  One thing to remember is to was the bottles out before you fill them again.  There was an actual study done that shows that the bottles are bacteria free as long as you was them out prior.  Heard it on the radio lol.

Put away more ammo and another can and moving to a more suitable/sustainable location.

That SODIS thing is awesome.

And every time I think of diarrhea I think of that robot chicken episode with Montezuma's ghost saying "REVENGE..."  ;D
