Sorry about asking over and over. I'm still new to plates and I want to be sure I am getting something good.
What do you think of these plates? 10x12 used Ceradine plates. 4 pounds each.

I know you need to be 18 to buy them.
-
Wrong.

Wrong.
You should do a bit of research before giving one word answers you cocky little shit.

13. Is it legal for civilians to buy Body Armor?
In general, yes - for law-abiding folks. A felony conviction makes possession of Body Armor illegal under federal law and in many states.
We have had civilian clients with many different civilian needs for Body Armor so we understand the need for vests for civilians. Our policy is to only sell to law-abiding adults who have a lawful purpose for Body Armor. (A parent or guardian may buy for a minor with a legitimate need.)
Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying Body Armor unless the sale is face to face (or unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military). We can't ship to Connecticut, or even accept credit cards billed there...
We cannot ship to residents of Connecticut
who are not police or military.
Some states are considering new legislation to prohibit or restrict sales of Body Armor to civilians, e.g., New York. If you are in a state that passes such a law, you would be well advised to make your Body Armor purchase now before it becomes much more expensive and inconvenient, if not prohibited altogether.
Seriously, what the fuck do you need body armor for Grudgie?
Piss off someone on the playground?

NO A PERSON UNDER 18 CAN NOT PURCHASE BODY ARMOR!! KEY WORDS BEING LAW ABIDING ADULT
-
Agian, wrong.
-
Really show proof
-
I don't know what your problem is GApatriot. I'm not really sure what to say here.
-
I dont know about the legal aspect but I know that most companies will refuse a sale unless some form of identification as to a Security, LEO or Mil style occupation. Ebay is probably a lot more lax on that lol.
-
I just want to see proof that a child can buy b/a
-
Then prove me wrong instead of just running your mouth.
That is... if you can..
-
You are both implying that I am a child because you don't like me. Get over it.
-
No all Im saying is that a person under 18 cant buy b/a you are saying they can, there is a rule on the forum about spreading bad info. so im asking for proof.
-
those are what we use for "training" plates here, IDK why they are "training" plates but people have used them in country...ive never seen the green ones.
but 215 a plate, i probably wouldnt get them.
and if you get plates make sure they will fit in your carrier...i had to run meduim plates in a small IOTV once, shit sucked major dick, couldnt get them into the plate pocket so them moved alot and cut off blood flow to my legs when kneeling...

Hey Gang,
Lets stop with the troll bullshit. Grudgie legitimately wants tp buy plates.. it is brutally obvious.
GAP is correct we have a rule against spreading bad info,
4. Intentionally providing false or misleading information as fact will not be tolerated.
RS762 and GAP there is also a rule against being buttholes.

I would suggest that you all refresh your memory and learn to act right.

I appologise for making claims that may or may not have been true. However I still can not find any information involving age requirements to buy body armour. If someone could point me to a link I will gladly retract my comments.

A simple google search shows that it is legal for anyone "Federally" to own and purchase body armor with the exception of Felons. There is an exemption to this exception based on the requirements of ones profession.
As to the question of age it appears that many states have different laws on what age you must be to be able to wear or even possess B/A. Check your local and state statues. Also know that just about ANY law broken while wearing B/A carries the potential for far greater prosecution.

Seriously though, all your other posts still exist.
They didn't go anywhere. You could have just pasted this
info in one of those. Let's try not taking up so much space with
one topic from one member, it's the courteous thing to do.
RS, you're getting as inpatient and irritable as me. LOL

had a guy in my platoon just get arrested for trying to sell some side plates that one of his buddies gave him when he ETS'd. i dont think too much is going to happen, but i thought it was funny. damn CID was lurking on craigslist and tricked his ass.
