Hey gang. Ive been thinking allot about the Availability of 5.56x45 v 7.62x39.
Now I'm an AK guy as many already know. For me its about the reliability of the platform under bad conditions.
But I know that hear in the US the 5.56 is a far more common round, with better availability.
So my questions are.
Would buying an AK in 5.56 with say 10-12 mags be a good thing?
Being an AK platform would it cycle crap ammo better than an AR?
And would outfitting the AK with the Mag well adaptor to accept AR mags be practical, as AR mags are in abundance in the US?
So I'm just looking for a little feedback on this guys. any thoughts are appreciated.

Well I think you should have a 7.62 ak as your primary. And keep a ar around for the ammo.

I made my point on this issue last time it was brought up.
