Title: Went to an Appleseed Shoot

this weekend.  Got home about 6pm.  Short story, I have not learned as much about shooting a rifle in my 56 years of this life as I did over this past weekend.  If you have been to one, go again.  If you have not been to one, go.

Your only reasonable excuse to say no is if you earned a military marksmanship pin in the last year.  Otherwise go.

Outstanding! It has been a long, long time since I attended an appleseed shoot.  I really need to again soon.

Ruger 10-22.  Rear peep site.  There were 12 on the line Sat morning. One was shooting an AR-10, 7.62 and one an AR style 22lr.  One or 2 had scopes.

DO IT.  No-- yeah I need to do that or I need to see how plans work out or any such acceptable.  Just Do it.  You will regret it if you do not and realize what you could not do once you go.

Had I have realized this myself 4 yrs ago it would not have taken me this long to get my lower posterior seating material to one.

I am taking a precision rifle class with Steve Reichert  Oct 23-25......right when the next appleseed is scheduled near me.  His class is one full day of ballistics (class room) and two days on the range.   There is an Appleseed shoot the following weekend out in Western Mass. If I can get the weekend off (my work supervisor/significant other may have me booked  ;) ) I will try to get there. It will be great to attend particularly right after Steve's class.

Bribe them.  The boss with a bottle of Glenlivet.  Her with a dozen roses, dinner out and a serious drawer dusting.

Be great participation bribes for both of them.
