Am I the only one who noticed that Currahee gave us a plug on his website??

This is my favorite forum at the moment.  A collection of more militant preppers, interested in things like tactics as well as traditional survivalist fare.

If you guys haven't checked out everycitizenasoldier.org then you need to, like now.

Currahee has some grade A info over there.

Check him out on YouTube too,

Well, odds are I get tmore plugs from here than SP will get from my site, but we will see.  At any rate you're welcome.

I have a bunch of stuff that I will be putting up on the site and videos I will be making in the next couple of months, specific to a more "tactical and teamwork" oriented preparedness. I took about a year off to work on other stuff, but I got a lot of hits during the "post Sandy Hook power grab."  I'm thinking more people might be waking up, and I would like to encourage this in my own small way.

I'm now working on a page on comm's and comm security.  There are also going to be videos on cammoflauge (one on traditonal cammoflauge and one with modern technological concerns) battlefield signalling and I'm gonna re-do my cover and concellment video.  The "Individual Tactical Training"  series is basically stuff that if everyone went out and practiced it would MASSIVELY increase you chances of combat survival.

Great website and YT channel there Currahee.

On a side note:
Has anyone ever noticed how 90+% of preppers will agree that security is paramount, however when more than half of those same preppers come across a channel or site that teaches the militaristic training needed for proper security, they will start to piss & moan by throwing out names like "gun prepper" or "rambo" or  "wolf" or "gun nut?"  Just sayin'.

I agree that some sites and channels teach bad information, and that this can make them look like "gun preppers," etc.... But most of the time their heart is in the right place... even though they don't know WTF they are doing.
[/end captain obvious rant]

I think it's because all of us have run in to at least that one nut job that will inevitably fuck it all up for the rest of us. The one nut job that wears his camelback to work with Mechanix gloves on while practicing tactical reloads on his YT channel while he neglects his wife and family. The one dumb ass who wakes his family up the middle of the night traumatizing his kids all for a bug out drill. The one moron who weighs 400lbs and poisons half his food to "get the last laugh." You get the point.

I'm not in the least saying Currahee is like that, but I've met my fair share of mall ninjas and tacticool operartors to understand why people who talk about the "darker side" of prepping get a bad rap. Hell I said something about ground up glass dust for evading dogs on one site and  :o I was suddenly the one who killed Jesus. And I even said it from a historical perspective about Jews who escaped German during the Holocaust. There is a time and place to talk about such things. I personally believe they are better read online and discussed in person.

Regardless, thanks Currahee.

I think the problem is that talk is cheap and people should learn to mind their own business.
Judging a group of people for the actions of some wacko is totally immature.

Going back on topic...
Currahee as I told you previously, the info in your site is awesome and the videos are an excellent complement, specially because their quality is top notch.
Hope to see more in the future.

Which one? There are hundreds of them on Youtube  :)) Seriously, my favorite was that ninja kid someone posted awhile back. I ought to show you guys the rant I'm currently having with some dumb ass on Youtube regarding the Mosin Nagant stock I ordered. As one of my buddies reminded me "you can't fix stupid."
