Thoughts Folks?

Some folks I know are a bit in tune with this but they don't know about it.  Based on ad worthwhile or ??

One interesting comment in it that almost makes it worthwhile and defines the US. 

In America freedom is symbolized by the Liberty Bell.  In France its by the guillotine. 

I find that rather interesting.

 The two countries that had to fight for their freedom. I can't think of any other, maybe Mexico but I can't think of what their symbol would be.

i can think of two in the Gulf of Mexico.
Haiti and Cuba.  I have no clue what symbols they attach to their 'fight for freedom'

Russia becoming the CCCP might count.  Red October <or November depending on your where you get your calendars printed> with the hammer and sickle.

funny how often the initial intentions, as spoken to the commoner, never seem to come true.
